Os jogos podem ser sequências numéricas de mesma cor ou de números iguais e cores diferentes.
O grande barato é que você também pode “encaixar” suas pedras nos jogos baixados pelos outros jogadores.

O jogo (e a palavra) Rummikub foi inventado por Efraim Hertzano, um judeu nascido na Romênia que imigrou à Palestina antes da criação do estado de Israel. Ele fez à mão os primeiros conjuntos com sua família no quintal de sua casa.
