Cull Obsidian, also known as the Black Dwarf, is a member of the Black Order of the Children of Thanos, and one of the most aggressive and relentless executioners, with superhuman strength and speed, invulnerability and impenetrable skin. The Black Order is a group formed by powerful and lethal aliens, recruited by Thanos to help him in his crusade to destroy different worlds.
In addition to the comics, he appeared alongside his brothers from the Black Order in the animated series United Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy. In the comics it was he who commanded Thanos' forces in his attack on Wakanda, when the villain came in search of the jewels of the infinite.
