Ghostbusters: 1984 science fiction, action, and comedy movie directed by Ivan Reitman and written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, who also perform. The story shows three parapsychologists and eccentric college professors who, after losing their research funds at Columbia University in New York, set up a company specializing in supernatural apparitions. Among its trademarks are its base in a disused fire department building, its car, a customized 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor Ambulance called the Ecto-1 and its forbidden logo on the design of a frightened ghost. Gozer the Gozerian, also called the Destroyer, is an extra-dimensional demonic entity. In the past worshiped as a god by the Hittites, Mesopotamians and the Sumerians around 6000 BC, Gozer has two servants, Vinz Clortho and Zuul, also worshiped as demigods in the past, responsible for preparing their arrival. Gozer manifests first in the form of a woman (Slavitza Jovan), then in the form chosen by his victims.
