GI Joe appeared in 1964, created by Hasbro. The figure of the adventurous soldier appeared in 4 versions inspired by the American armed forces: Action-Soldier (Army), Action-Sailor (Navy), Action-Pilot (Air Force) and Action-Marine (Marine) and from these descriptions came the term “action-figure” to describe the new product. In 1982 Hasbro launched the GI Joes, in the 3 ¾” scale (10 cm tall) and with more figures in the collection. TV commercials gave rise to the animated series from which these statues are inspired. Snake Eyes' true name and past are a mystery. Mute, he acts as a special agent and combat instructor, thanks to his ninja training.
